Inside: This “dump and go”, ridiculously easy raspberry walnut salad recipe is the perfect quick, but impressive-looking side dish for dinner parties. OR serve with grilled chicken on top for a 15-minute stove-free meal.
This salad was my early summer hyperfixation food. I ate it every single day for weeks.
If only my family liked salads or raspberries (how can they not like raspberries?!), I would consider adding it to our dinner rotation.
My family aside, if we were the type to attend regular potlucks or gatherings, this salad would be the thing I would bring. It looks fancy and impressive, while requiring almost zero work.
So if you need something easy to bring to a dinner party, or you want a meal that requires zero standing over a hot stove or turning on the oven, this sweet raspberry walnut salad is perfect.
(You could also top it with grilled chicken or THIS easy chicken salad.)

I’ll be straight with you: the only downside to this recipe is that it’s on the pricey side.
If you can wait until raspberries are on some kind of BOGO sale (or you can pick your own) and stock up on the glazed walnuts when they’re on sale, it will hurt your wallet a little less.
And that’s also why I used to save it for the dinner parties, for people who, unlike my family, might fully appreciate it’s awesomeness.
On to the ingredients…

Lettuce
You could save a bit and chop your own romaine lettuce.
But what makes it ridiculously easy is buying a big container of baby romaine that’s already chopped and washed, soooo….
Raspberries
Obviously, in a raspberry walnut salad, there must be raspberries.
Glazed Walnuts
These little guys are seriously addictive on their own.
After I finished taking pictures for this post and tossed a few servings of this salad, I finished off the bag. Yummmmm.

Goat Cheese
I don’t like feta and ever since I mistook blue cheese dressing for ranch as a child and took a big ol’ bite, I’ve despised blue cheese.
Goat cheese is the best crumbled cheese.
Garlic Butter Croutons
You can swap these for a different flavor, but try it with the garlic butter flavor first?
In my opinion, the savory croutons with the sweet everything else makes this salad what it is.
Raspberry Walnut Dressing
I prefer Ken’s Steakhouse raspberry walnut dressing, but I’m sure other brands have an acceptable substitute.
